The ongoing war in Ukraine has wide-ranging geostrategic repercussions, which are likely to affect various international actors, whatever their sizes or political weights.
And since all the influential forces on the international scene, not just Russia and Ukraine, are involved in this war, either directly or indirectly, in addition to the fact that it is a war conducted by various available means, and not by force of fire or by military means alone, its effects and repercussions are likely to vary greatly from one region to another, and from one country to another. West Asia in particular is likely to have the lion’s share of these effects and repercussions, whose goals and orientations often face-off to the point of contradiction.

The security situation in the occupied West Bank is escalating rapidly. On the ground, the occupation army’s operations continue in all areas of the West Bank and Al-Quds, through operations of field liquidation of Palestinian civilians, isolation and arrest of political activists of all factions, and the demolition and confiscation of homes, lands and properties of Palestinians in different parts of the West Bank and Al-Quds.
On the other hand, the West Bank is witnessing an escalation in confrontation operations and the response to the incursions of the occupation army.
