Three years after the Beirut port explosion, which killed more than 220 people and injured 6,500, the investigation file on the accident is still forgotten and faces several obstacles mainly related to the political crisis in the country.
The explosion, whose third anniversary fell on Friday, August 4, has essentially exacerbated the economic crisis, whose features had begun about a year before the blast and accelerated after it, to a point that 80% of the population are living below the poverty line.
