Washington’s War on Huawei: Driven by Greed, Not “Security”

For one, the Trump-era US-China trade war has continued under Biden without missing a beat.

Second, there is still no evidence being shown that Huawei poses a “national security threat” to the US – rather than simply outcompeting US companies.

Third, this isn’t even about the alleged US “need” to contain China – because Washington is applying similar pressure through similar tactics on its closest Western allies – including Germany over the Nord Stream 2 pipeline.
