Journalist and Grayzone contributor Gareth Porter joins Shadowproof managing editor Kevin Gosztola to discuss President Joe Biden’s policy toward Iran, including the prospects of the United States rejoining the Iran nuclear deal that former President Donald Trump abandoned.

Neocons are pushing hard against Rob Malley, who could become US envoy on Iran. Secretary of State nominee Antony Blinken is definitely not for a military campaign against Iran, but during his confirmation hearing, he was rather accommodating to the strand of right-wing foreign policy that dominated the past four years.

Gareth also outlines the differences and alarming similarities between Biden and Trump’s Iran policy.
