Following a deadly April 2021 bombing targeting but missing China’s ambassador to Pakistan, an attack has been carried out on a bus carrying Chinese engineers working on infrastructure projects in Pakistan.
This unfolds as the US continues to escalate tensions with China and after decades of the US providing semi-clandestine support to Baluchistan-based separatists for the expressed purpose of driving out Chinese interests from Pakistan.
