Misrepresenting Humanity on a Grand Scale

I speak to researcher, economic reform activist, free speech advocate & soul singer, Ian Jenkins, long time friend and colleague. We cover the worst of the impact of Covid-19 lockdown on the most vulnerable of society. Governments do not care about these marginalised communities and the measures imposed upon them do nothing to alleviate their suffering, rather it is compounded by draconian, nonsensical restrictions. What can we do as human beings to preserve what it means to be human in the face of a tsunami of tyranny.

“Enough of the tyranny of experts in narrow fields, with no concept of the broader and quite disastrous consequences of their inability to think outside their range of knowledge. Scientific qualifications bestow absolutely no added ability to behave ethically or to form policy.”

Ian Jenkins

“I care far more how humanity lives than how long. Progress, for me, means increasing goodness and happiness of individual lives. For the species, as for each man, mere longevity seems to me a contemptible ideal.”

C S Lewis, from ‘Is Progress Possible?’
