Colombians went to the polls this month and gave a huge victory to the left in Congressional elections. The presidential primaries are next and Left-wing leader Gustavo Petro is the front-runner. Petro’s progressive Black female running mate, Francia Márquez, has received death threats from paramilitaries but they aren’t backing down.
