US Launches Massive Attack on Iran; Millions Attend Khamenei’s Funeral

The US launched a massive attack on Iran last night, targeting several sites along the southern region of the country. According to CENTCOM, the US carried out 85 strikes on Iranian soil. Iran responded with their own strikes, hitting US installations in the nearby Persian Gulf.

Just before the strikes, millions of people attended the funeral of the late Supreme Leader of Iran, Ayatollah Ali Khamenei. The scene was a major surprise for all the neocons and warhawks who claimed that Khamenei’s death would bring an end to the Islamic Republic.
