Why did Netanyahu not bomb Khamenei’s funeral?

Who are the two persons who set the groundwork for the current extreme shift and the destruction of the Israeli state?

Benjamin Netanyahu may have been the most ardent supporter of the greatest, longest, and most organised funeral procession for the martyr Imam Ali Khamenei, notwithstanding his dissatisfaction, oppression, powerlessness, and even defeat. The assassination operation he boasted about had entirely different outcomes, the most prominent of which was that the Iranian regime emerged from the Israeli-American aggressive war even stronger and more resilient, with its missiles, programme, and nuclear arsenal intact. Most importantly, the “funeral procession” included over a hundred international delegations as well as tens of millions of Iranian residents. Israel, along with the “deceived” and “misled” United States, had relied on these individuals launching a large popular “revolution” in most Iranian cities to overthrow the existing regime and replace it with one that is submissive and loyal to the American-Israeli alliance.

The presence of Iranian leadership figures at the front of the mourners’ lines on the first day, in an open space, under a sky free of any aircraft, and on land and fields devoid of tanks, armoured vehicles, or rocket launchers, confirms the falsehood of President Donald Trump’s claims that he pledged to protect this mourning procession and prevent the Israeli occupation state from carrying out any assassination operations against these figures, particularly the two leading

Perhaps the sight of General Ahmad Vahidi, the Revolutionary Guard commander, at the head of the mourners’ parade proves that the choice was entirely Iranian. The Iranian leadership has frequently emphasised, through various high-ranking officials, that it does not trust the American foe, and it is correct in this regard, with a long list of practical and field data to back it up. Any attack on the “mourning festival” by Israel and America would be extremely costly politically, militarily, and economically, plunging the world and its security into a third world war whose chapters and outcome are unknown.

From this standpoint, we tend to believe Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu’s office’s denial of the story published by the “New York Times”, which indicated that President Trump worried Israel would execute Iranian negotiators Qalibaf and Araqchi. As a result, he urged them against taking this step because it could have a negative impact on their relationship.

The Israeli terrorist government, which specialises in assassinating Arab and Islamic political and military leaders, from martyr Imam Ali Khamenei to his cousin, martyr Sayyed Hassan Nasrallah, the leader of Hezbollah, and ending with the third Sayyed, Iranian President Ebrahim Raisi, and dozens of Iranian, Lebanese, and Palestinian military leaders, cannot transform overnight into a peaceful lamb.

The truth that cannot be overlooked is that Israel has changed since yesterday. Israel is currently “terrified” and “defeated”; it has failed in all its plans against the rock of Iranian fortitude and resistance. The majority, if not all, of its cards have been revealed, and this has exposed its deception. The most recent gamble was on pulling America, the world’s superpower, into a conflict against Iran to fully destroy it, as well as its missile and nuclear weapons capabilities.

“Israel”, which previously considered an incursion into Lebanese territory and a direct assault on Iran with hundreds of planes to be a walk in the park, can no longer bomb the southern suburbs of Beirut, the capital, with a single missile because it knows that the immediate response will be an instantaneous barrage of hundreds of precise missiles and highly advanced drones aimed at destroying Tel Aviv, Haifa, and Dimona.

This process of change currently shapes the region, indicating and actually confirming a profound upheaval in the balance and equations of power in the “West Asia” region, not the Middle East, the vile colonial name, attributed to two primary leaders and a group of minds surrounding them.

• The martyr Imam Sayyid Ali Khamenei, Iran’s late Supreme Leader, took over the leadership of the Iranian revolution following the death of its founder, Ayatollah Khomeini. He merged the two roles of political, military, and executive leadership by serving as president for several years, followed by spiritual leadership as the Islamic “imam” as supreme leader and ayatollah. He developed nuclear capabilities, transforming his country into a nuclear power with a 460-kilogram stockpile of highly enriched uranium. He also established it as a missile power, with hundreds of modern missiles and drones. He was a significant supporter of the Palestinian cause, providing all of the necessary weaponry and equipment to resistance fighters and advocating front-line unity. He is convinced that America and Israel pose the primary danger to the Islamic country and that they must be defeated.

• The second is the martyr Yahya Sinwar and his comrades, those geniuses who planned, engineered, and executed the attack on October 7th, known as the “Al-Aqsa Flood,” which destroyed the sanctity of Israeli cities and settlements and breached the borders fortified with cameras and electric wires, marking the largest military intelligence breach in the region’s history, rivalled only by the Egyptian army’s crossing of the Bar Lev Line during Ramadan in October 1973.

We do not compare or equate the two men. Still, we do assert that they are both the offspring of a single, comprehensive journey anchored in the depths of the resilient and honourable Islamic doctrine and history, a voyage of dignity and victory. The second, deeper, and more significant phase of colonial resistance has begun, as has the process of fundamental change that will rebuild the landscapes of West Asia and Africa in accordance with Islamic and Arab visions. As for Netanyahu, who was only a bubble when he vowed to take on this responsibility and promised to construct Greater Israel a few months ago, he will be the first victim of this transformation, as will his entity. He is currently pursuing an “honourable” retreat without appearing vanquished, but his fate is certain to be incarceration if he survives.
