The historic funeral ended… Big Iranian slap to America’s in the way

What does the Jordanian army’s claim of intercepting eight Iranian missiles bound for Tel Aviv mean?

When Mr Mohammad Baqer Qalibaf, Speaker of the Iranian Parliament and head of the negotiation delegation, repeatedly stated that his country does not trust the United States and its president because they do not honour their commitments and are characterised by deception and treachery, he was never far from the truth. Here is US President Donald Trump, less than a month after the war ended and the implementation of the memorandum of understanding began, resuming aggressive strikes on Iranian targets that have resulted in the deaths of 14 people and injuries to 78 others, all civilians.

Trump has breached all ethical standards and morals four times. The first occasion was when he used derogatory remarks toward the Iranian authorities. The second time, Hitler directed planes to destroy civilian railway bridges in the north and east of the country. The third time, his rockets targeted the Bushehr nuclear power plant and a nearby military installation, perhaps causing a nuclear radiation spill and killing tens of thousands, if not more. The fourth and most dangerous instance was the “crown jewel” of moral decline, which manifested itself in the outbreak of this war while the partner in the truce agreement was preoccupied with the funeral of its leader and martyr, Ali Khamenei, and the attendance of tens of millions of people inside and outside Iran.

The biggest mistake Trump made, which reflects the shallowness of his political and military thinking, as well as his unparalleled stupidity in both cases, is his belief that he could violate the agreement, bomb some Iranian targets with his army, and send “Qatari” and “Saudi” ships to pass through the Strait of Hormuz under the protection of his frigates and planes without first obtaining permission from the Iranian supervision authority. Within minutes, the response was swift, lethal, and humiliating: the three ships were relentlessly bombed, and “selected” American sites in three Gulf cities, Kuwait, Bahrain, and Qatar, were targeted with drones and missiles in revenge for the invasion.

The funeral procession ended today, Thursday, with the arrival of the martyr’s body in Mashhad, his birthplace, and interment in his ultimate resting place alongside Imam Reza. The Iranian leadership will now concentrate on “disciplining” the American president and worsening his losses, both in quantity and quality.

The first indication that verifies this unavoidable assumption is what General Ibrahim Rajai, the spokesman for the National Security Committee in the Shura Council, said today, addressing the American enemy: “Expect a harsh slap from the Iranians very soon.”

Iranian missiles hit three American-protected ships crossing the Strait of Hormuz and struck President Trump at his core without hesitation. He believes that opening the Strait of Hormuz to global navigation for free and without fees is a matter of life and death. And the Iranians respond as quickly as lightning. No ship will transit through the strait without official Iranian permission. Drink whichever seawater you want: white, crimson, or Arab. The upcoming retaliation from Iran will likely target “Israel” in the Bab el-Mandeb Strait. The Jordanian army’s recent statement confirming the interception and destruction of 8 Iranian missiles on their way to Tel Aviv supports this narrative. These eight intercepted Iranian missiles are merely an “appetiser” and a warning message before a greater bombardment of hundreds, if not thousands, of missiles and drones from Iran, Iraq, Yemen, and, most crucially, Lebanon, particularly from Hezbollah.

The coming days will be decisive, and the Iranian response could be the most massive and destructive, several times larger than previous rounds, targeting more than 25 naval destroyers and two American aircraft carriers, as well as the more than 50 American military bases in the region.

Accepting the ceasefire and the ensuing trap of the truce, as well as the false promises of removing the siege, resuming oil shipments, and returning part of the frozen billions that some “mediators” marketed to Iran, was a rash decision.

Regardless of the reasons, many people, including ourselves, believe that it is time to “discipline” Americans and Israelis and teach them additional lessons on the battlefields that they will never forget if they stay in the region. The Iranians outnumber and outgun the Taliban in Afghanistan, and they have a longer history and more experience.
