Why the US National Endowment for Democracy Has Nothing to do with “Democracy”

The US National Endowment for Democracy certainly has the word “democracy” in it – but that does not mean the NED is about promoting actual democracy.
How do we know that?
The current NED President & CEO Damon Wilson has said so – the US will decide for nations their own interests – not these nations themselves.
