Trump’s great lie about sending Iran back to the Stone Age
Why would his resignation from NATO be the most beneficial to the alliance and its members? How did Russia, China, and Iran benefit the most from his hubris and ignorance?
When US President Donald Trump announces that the war in Iran could end in two weeks, even if Iran does not reach an agreement, reopens the Strait of Hormuz to oil tankers and international shipping, and hints at withdrawing from NATO, he is admitting defeat and preparing to withdraw all of his forces and aircraft carriers from the region. The main justifications are three: altering Iran’s leadership, destroying its military capabilities, and preventing it from developing nuclear weapons.
Trump is reeling from the severe blows dealt by Iranian cunning and effective war management, beginning with the regime’s preemptive readiness to confront aggression, the development of its missile industry, and the infusion of young blood into its veins to replace the old leadership as soon as possible.
The Iran war separated America from its European allies, who demonstrated their foresight and adherence to their precise calculations in avoiding this war, in addition to its illegality and the impossibility of winning it, due to their knowledge of Iran’s true strength, their lack of trust in the Israeli occupation state, the false justifications being promoted about the Iranian strategic threats to the Western world, and the excessive and exaggerated confidence in achieving
What Trump and his team, who were chosen based on their attractiveness and personal loyalty to him while ignoring competence, do not realise is that the Iran war caused a significant schism between Europe and America, strengthened China and Russia’s positions, and hastened global security, economic, and political turmoil.
America suffered defeat in all its ground conflicts, including Vietnam, Afghanistan, and Iraq. Perhaps this truth is what prevented Trump, under pressure from the deep American state, from succumbing to Israeli counter-pressures to send his forces and fleets to the Strait of Hormuz to force it open and occupy the island of Khark, which controls it and is considered the nerve centre of Iranian oil production. A superpower like the United States can easily occupy territories, islands, and capitals, but maintaining such occupancy is a difficult, if not impossible, endeavour. This is what happened in Afghanistan after over twenty years of occupation and in Iraq after another eight-year occupation, both of which resulted in humiliating troop withdrawals.
Trump, with his hubris and political, geographical, and historical illiteracy, damaged America’s prestige and global leadership by falling to Israeli deception and invading Iran, following the cunning of Benjamin Netanyahu and the Zionist movement as a whole. Now, he is facing severe consequences, which could potentially lead to his early removal from power or even assassination. The beginning could be a million-person protest in fifty American states against his authority and action against Iran, which presented no threat to their country.
Trump’s withdrawal from NATO will bring nothing new; instead, it could be a positive step for Europe and its members. Europe has suffered immensely as a result of American disarray and the poisoned daggers of the White House rulers, most notably being dragged into the Ukraine war with eyes wide open, embroiling it in a war that has drained it financially, militarily, and strategically. As a result, it benefited from this Ukrainian lesson and avoided falling into the Iranian trap.
The NATO treaty’s most notable section focuses on protecting member states’ security and combating any aggression that threatens them. Trump appears to have missed the aggression against Iran by the United States and Israel, which is not a party to the conflict, as does the elite that surrounds him. Otherwise, he would not have gone to war in the first place, nor would he have insisted that NATO and its member nations engage by sending warships and forcibly opening the Strait of Hormuz.
Trump adds “sugar” to defeat by adding his biggest falsehood to his already extensive list of lies, saying this evening or tomorrow that he has defeated Iran, changed its regime, and returned it to the Stone Age. As a result, he decided to end the offensive and evacuate all of his men. This is an April Fool’s joke.
