Thailand: Hiding Sedition Behind “Free Speech”

As the US has done around the globe, it is backing groups engaged in propaganda and disinformation aimed at undermining Thailand’s leadership including its 700+ year old monarchy, an institution’s whose head – the King of Thailand – also serves as the nation’s head of state.

US-funded fronts posing as “human rights” advocates claim this propaganda and disinformation – amounting to defamation under the laws of any other nation on Earth – is simply “free speech.”

I explain how this is absolutely wrong and how US-funded sedition in Thailand is merely hiding behind “free speech,” not “fighting for it.”
