Are Americans leaving the “Middle East” in droves?

Who is the American intellectual who designed the scheme and whose forecast came true earlier than expected?

The Office of the Inspector General of the United States Department of Defence (Pentagon) released a fresh report today that revealed for the first time officially that the US war on Iran cost $33.4 billion over the previous six months. Its goal is to pave the way for the end of the war by first withdrawing all US military forces (50,000), aircraft carriers, and naval ships, as well as closing more than 50 military bases in the region.

The publication of this report and the numbers it contains represents a preliminary acknowledgement of defeat as well as a rapid practical action to minimise damages. It imposes strict military constraints on President Donald Trump’s reckless actions and entanglement of the military in the quagmire of this war, as its continuation for this long contradicts the Pentagon’s new doctrine, which opposes falling into the trap of a prolonged war of attrition and seeks to minimise both human and financial losses.

The report also disclosed for the first time that Iran had shot down more than 42 American military aircraft, including a stealth “F-35” and four modern “F-15” fighters, 12 aerial refuelling aircraft, other intelligence AWACS, and finally 30 “MQ9” drones.

The vast majority of American outposts in the Middle East, particularly in the Gulf, have been utterly destroyed, as their air defence systems failed to protect them against Iranian missiles and drones. Perhaps for this reason, Iranian missile strikes against American air bases in Jordan have recently risen, as they have taken the place of their Gulf counterparts in launching missiles at targets deep inside Iran or across the Strait of Hormuz.

Michael Fox, the former advisor to President Biden, was the first to ring the bell when he published an unprecedentedly strong article in the famous magazine “Foreign Affairs,” which concluded with the assertion that “the war on Iran has revealed the failure of the American strategy in the Middle East and has proven that the American military presence no longer achieves security and stability but has become a cause of deepening crises, and the time has come to end this”.

Advisor Fox stressed the economic element when he remarked in the same piece, “The war in Iran is an economic disaster for America, and the wars in the Middle East after the ‘New York raid’ by Al-Qaeda on September 11, 2001, in Afghanistan and Iraq cost the American treasury $8 trillion. These wars engaged 3 million American soldiers and contractors, with over 15,000 military personnel killed and 1.8 million soldiers and veterans maimed or disabled.

We can conclude from all of this that America, defeated as a result of President Trump’s stupidity and recklessness, as well as his submission to Israeli directives, particularly those of Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, has begun to withdraw from the Middle East, as did the British and French empires. The signals of these wars first appeared in Iraqi Kurdistan, then in Syria, and the next step is to flee Iraq and the Gulf region, where 50,000 soldiers are stationed in bases.
