Poland/NATO Reel at Kinzhal Deployment in Kalingrad
As the Deputy Minister of National Defense of the Republic, Wojciech Skurkiewicz, emphasized, cooperation within NATO is the basis for ensuring the security of Poland.
It appears many mercenaries have vanished during this surgical attack. Nothing confirmed but looking at the damage Kinzhal was utilized. https://t.co/v4LQ5f94AX

Watch a ‘Dagger’ do a hard curve at Mach 10 to evade missiles…

WARSAW, 20 August. /TASS/. Poland, in cooperation with the countries of the North Atlantic Alliance, gives an adequate response to the actions of the Russian Federation in the Kaliningrad region. This was announced to the Polish Press Agency on Saturday by Deputy Minister of National Defense of the Republic Wojciech Skurkiewicz, commenting on the deployment of Russian fighters with hypersonic Kinzhal missiles in the Kaliningrad region.

According to him, Poland, as a country on the eastern flank of NATO, fully understands what is happening. “Our actions, in consultation with our allies and NATO headquarters, are and will remain adequate to the threats and actions taken by the Russian Federation in the Kaliningrad region,” he said.
Not many people can find Kaliningrad on a map. It is just under 2,000 km from the Western shores of Ireland. It is also where Russia has recently deployed MiG-31 aircraft armed with Kinzhal hypersonic missiles. Perhaps one has NATO blowhard Jens Stoltenberg's name on it. pic.twitter.com/nbMPgWTchm

According to Skurkiewicz, cooperation within NATO is the basis for ensuring the security of Poland. “These guarantees have been and remain in force, and obligations in this regard are clearly stated by our partners: individual members of the North Atlantic Alliance, as well as US President Joe Biden,” Skurkevich added.
The deputy head of the Polish Ministry of Defense recalled that his country had long been strengthening the eastern flank of NATO, increasing the number of troops, and conducting exercises. According to him, a NATO combat group is stationed in the eastern part of the country, as well as the command of the multinational division “North-East”.
“Dagger”
Three MiG-31I aircraft with Kinzhal hypersonic missiles were relocated to the Chkalovsk airfield in the Kaliningrad region as part of additional strategic deterrence measures, the Russian Defense Ministry said on Wednesday.
“Kinzhal” is the latest Russian complex with hypersonic aeroballistic missiles. The MiG-31K and MiG-31I fighter-interceptors were chosen as the carrier for the complex. The Kinzhal missile has low radar visibility and high maneuverability and is designed to destroy ground and sea targets. The speed of the rocket is 10 times the speed of sound, the range of destruction is more than 2 thousand km. The missile maneuvers in all sections of the trajectory, which allows it to overcome all air defense and missile defense systems. The complex is equipped with conventional and nuclear warheads. The mass of the warhead is 500 kg.
The Kinzhal complexes have been on experimental combat duty in the RF Armed Forces since December 2017. Officially, the first combat use of these missiles took place on March 18, 2022 during a military operation in Ukraine.
