Professor Mohammad Marandi of the University of Tehran joins Rania Khalek and Zoe Alexandra to talk “big losers” in the US-Israeli war on Iran and what it would take for Tehran to agree to a lasting settlement, as Persian Gulf states continue to feel the burn of complicity with Washington and the global economy sinks deeper into crisis.

“The Islamic Revolution 47 years ago was about sovereignty and independence and dignity and honor and support for the oppressed across the globe,” Marandi explained. “And so there’s no chance that this state is going to accept the United States or the Europeans taking away their sovereign right.”
