Israel raised the tone of its threats towards the axis of resistance, two days after the end of the maneuver organized by Hezbollah in southern Lebanon.
The maneuver was described as the first of its kind, and it simulated a ground attack that included taking over settlements and capturing Israeli soldiers. Israeli threats included Iran, Syria and Hezbollah. Do these threats come against the background of the maneuver and its underlying messages? Or did the maneuver anticipate an Israeli tendency and signals to try to break the prevailing rules of engagement, and send a message that the Israelis understood?
Meanwhile, on the anniversary of the departure of the launcher of the Iranian Islamic Revolution, Imam Khomeini, may God Almighty be pleased with him, we should reconsider the ideas of this outstanding leader, which are lofty ideas that urge Muslims, and indeed all the oppressed people around the world, to turn to themselves and rely on their enormous capabilities.
Just as the Imam succeeded in mobilizing the Iranian people to revolt against the tyrannical monarchy and then to form a popular government, the rest of the peoples can take this model as an example to move towards independence and true sovereignty.
