Al Jazeera’s Laura Khan joins live from Beirut. She reports that the Israeli army has warned of targeting several buildings in Dahiyeh, the southern suburbs of the city. According to Khan, at least four strikes have occurred over the past few hours, though the extent of the damage remains unclear. While independent verification is not possible at this stage, Israel claims the strikes were aimed at Hezbollah’s intelligence headquarters.
Meanwhile, Al Jazeera’s Nour Odeh reports from Amman, Jordan. She says that Netanyahu appears to be feeling emboldened and empowered. He is riding on that high of the victory he declared 24 hours ago that Israel was achieving.
Also, Elijah Magnier, a military and security analyst, joins Al Jazeera’s live in the studio.
