Remember claims that Iran “restored deterrence” during its April 2024 strike on Israel?

Clearly this didn’t happen.
Israel continues attacking Iran and its allies across the region.
Israel cannot be “deterred” because it is a disposable proxy.
Those directing Israeli policy do not care ultimately what happens to Israel anymore than they care what happens to Ukraine.
This is why Israel continues attempting to provoke a multi-front war Israel as a nation-state will not benefit from.
Iran’s best strategy is to sustain itself militarily and economically as the region and the world transitions from unipolar to multipolar, avoiding the costly conflict Washington seeks to drag it into, which could include the use of Israeli nuclear weapons.
I know this is not an emotionally appealing strategy, but is a rational one. Washington depends on emotions prevailing over reason.
