Trump failed to destroy Iran; Mojtaba Khamenei will teach him a lesson
President Trump has claimed to have made progress in negotiations since the start of the war to defend his humiliating withdrawals. He used a new lexicon today to defend his most recent humiliating retreat, emphasising the seriousness of the ongoing talks with Iran. Were all of the earlier rounds of negotiations, which lasted more than two years and began in Vienna, travelled through Geneva and Muscat, and concluded in Islamabad, ludicrous or unrelated to seriousness?
Trump is avoiding military conflict with Iran, and the escalation of threats and the resumption of war no longer intimidate the adversary into complying with the 15 American demands, most notably those related to nuclear development and enrichment.
Because this retreat has become monotonous and worthless, we were not shocked by his choice to postpone the attack that was supposed to happen today, Tuesday, as he claimed.
The information gathered by American intelligence, which verifies that the Iranian armed forces will launch hundreds, if not thousands, of drones and hypersonic and cluster warhead missiles every day at Israeli targets and American bases, particularly those in Gulf countries, is the true cause of this “Trumpian” retreat.
The Pakistani government had requested that Trump halt or delay the attack when he last threatened to erase Iran from the map and destroy it entirely after the ceasefire deadline.
Hereafter, he left Pakistan alone and claimed that the leaders of Saudi Arabia, the UAE, and Qatar were the ones who asked him to stop the attack this time. It’s possible that these three did not take this action, did not speak with the US president at all, and, like us, heard his justification through the media.
More significantly, these three Gulf nations, together with Egypt, Jordan, and Syria, have no sympathy for Iran, no close ties with it, support the United States in this conflict, and the majority of them want it to go on until Iran is eliminated. President Trump is well aware that this confrontation with Iran would bring an end to his career and possibly his personal life by defeating the American army in a manner reminiscent of Vietnam and overthrowing President Reagan’s legacy. He is trying to find a way out of the situation that his handler and mentor, Benjamin Netanyahu, put him in. We reassure him that he won’t be able to escape since Iran has realised how vulnerable he is and neither his army nor his people favour the Israeli war. More significantly, Iran has insisted on lifting the blockade in all its manifestations and seeking recompense for the losses it has suffered as a result of this illegitimate war. Iran has never given up in the major sovereign files, particularly the nuclear and missile files.
Threatening to attack all Israeli and American ships and destroyers; open new fronts, including the Yemeni and Iraqi fronts alongside the Lebanese front; and close the Bab el-Mandeb Strait in the Red Sea, the Iranian army is keeping its finger on the trigger, prepared to confront any new American-Israeli aggression.
Iran is behaving like a powerful side that has prevailed in the conflict. Our proof is that it has created a new authority to oversee the Strait of Hormuz and to charge fees to ships and oil tankers entering or exiting it. The riskiest part is charging fees to large multinational corporations like Google, Microsoft, and Amazon, which hold more than $10 trillion in internet cables at the bottom of the strait.
After destroying all of Iran’s fleets and air, naval, and land forces, Trump ordered that Iran accept its loss, surrender, and hoist the white flag. If so, why hasn’t it yielded to his threats and complied with his demands?
Trump and his aggressive partner, the Israeli occupying state, should accept defeat and reduce losses. The conditions of the unwavering soldiers in the Axis of Resistance are shaping the Middle East, not Netanyahu’s demands and illusions. One piece of evidence is what is happening in Lebanon right now, as well as in Yemen and Iraq in the near future.
