Who will win the final battle in the Iranian war?

The “mother of all bombs” American or the “father of all missiles” Iranian?

I paused for a long time in front of Aladdin Boroujerdi’s statement, a member of the Iranian Parliament’s National Security and Foreign Policy Committee, because it shed light on Iran’s preparations for the upcoming confrontation against the almost certain American-Israeli dual aggression in the coming days, as well as the Iranian leadership’s political, media, and psychological eloquence.

Deputy Boroujerdi stated, “Donald Trump threatens to bomb Iran with the ‘mother of all bombs,’ and we will respond promptly with the ‘father of all missiles,’ highlighting the terrible price they will pay for crossing Iran’s red lines. We will firmly keep control over the Strait of Hormuz, and we will push on Trump’s neck,” he nearly said with our shoes, but Islamic ethics prohibited him from doing so.

The appointment of General Mehrdad Akhlaghi as Minister of Defence, known as “the father of missiles and their uncle and aunt”, who has spent 42 years overseeing and developing the military industry to its current level of modern strength and effectiveness, was also a historic and successful decision. Perhaps his receiving 237 out of 277 votes in the Iranian parliament validates what we have stated.

The facts on his desk in the White House and in the operations rooms frighten Trump and prevent him from carrying out his threats to resume the war against Iran, which we summarise below:

  • First, a study from the Director of National Intelligence indicates that Tehran has the Middle East’s greatest arsenal of sophisticated ballistic missiles.
  • Second, according to U.S. Secretary of State Marco Rubio, the Iranian military leadership has spent the last eight months of the current war developing intercontinental ballistic missiles capable of striking US bases in Europe in collaboration with North Korea. Perhaps Washington’s hurry in withdrawing all of its massive bombers of the “B-2 Spirit” and “B-52” versions from the British Fairford Air Base was due to Iran’s possession of these missiles.
  • Third, General Hossein Mohammadi, the Revolutionary Guard’s spokesperson, stated that “the quality of Iranian missiles has increased in number by one and a half times since the beginning of the final round of the war, and their range has also increased by one and a half times, with some exceeding a range of 2000 kilometres, and they can carry nuclear warheads. This report explains how they reached the American outpost in Diego Garcia in the far eastern Indian Ocean.
  • Fourth, the new Iranian military facilities are located deep within mountainous areas, where the “mother of all bombs”, weighing 9.8 tonnes, cannot reach and is buried 60 metres underground.
  • Fifth, the Iranian missile arsenal consists of a large number of missiles of varying sizes and ranges, ranging from Emad, Sajil, Shihab, and Khorramshahr to cluster warhead missiles such as Khaibar and Fattah hypersonic. All of these missiles will be used in the event of renewed US-Israeli aggression, which is not unlikely given that the renowned global newspaper “Financial Times” confirmed, citing three sources, that the Israeli army planned an attack on Iran on Saturday, October 10, and Trump personally intervened to prevent it.

Netanyahu is working hard to persuade America to resume the war against Iran, seeing it as his final chance to get out of his predicament and avoid the end of his life in prison. Perhaps the visit of US Secretary of Defence Peter Hegseth to Tel Aviv last Monday and his meeting with Israeli military leaders is one of the most visible pieces of evidence of Netanyahu’s success in convincing the US government to launch an assault on Iran. Both young and old Americans are aware that the Israeli Prime Minister is the ruler and final authority in the United States.

Eight months of American fighting with all kinds of weaponry (except nuclear ones so far) have failed to achieve any of Trump’s or Netanyahu’s objectives, the most prominent of which are to open the Strait of Hormuz and starve the Iranian people into revolution. We do not believe that the latest onslaught will achieve the long-standing goal of removing the Iranian regime. Rather, Iranian missiles successfully destroyed or damaged three aircraft carriers and around 20 American warships, as well as the destruction of Iranian missiles in Tel Aviv, Haifa, Eilat, Safed, and Ashkelon.
