Why the US Wants to Block Free and Fair Elections in Palestine w/ Dr. Mustafa Barghouti

Israel continues to starve, bombard, and ethnically cleanse Palestine with the full backing of the US government. The death toll stands at over 31,000 people, and more than half of Gaza’s population of 2.3 million people are facing imminent famine. And while the world has its eyes on Gaza, Israel has intensified its slaughter and torture of Palestinians in the occupied West Bank.

Dr. Mustafa Barghouti, a physician and general secretary of the Palestinian National Initiative, joins the show from Ramallah to discuss the possibility of Palestinian political unification in a postwar Gaza why free and fair elections in Palestine would be the U.S. and Israel’s worst nightmare.
