KKK Prison Guard Gang Tried to Kill Inmate, 2 Prisoners Saved His Life—Now They Fight for Freedom
Indiana political prisoners Christopher “Naeem” Trotter and John “Balagoon” Cole fought back against a gang of KKK-aligned guards, the “Sons of Light,” in a 1985 prison rebellion, and tried to save someone’s life. They were then sentenced to 142 and 84 years in prison.
Too Black, communications representative for the Defense Committee to Free Pendleton 2, poet, organizer & host of the Black Myths Podcast, explains what happened and how to get Naeem and Balagoon free after 37 years of wrongful incarceration, including signing on to this petition.
