Iran Forces Lebanon Ceasefire | Prof. Mohammad Marandi

Professor Mohammad Marandi, an expert on American studies at the University of Tehran, joins Rania Khalek to break down the 10-day Lebanon-Israel ceasefire that took effect on April 17 — and Iran’s announcement that the Strait of Hormuz is now “completely open for the remaining period of the ceasefire.”

Marandi explains how Iran forced the ceasefire, stating bluntly: “Iran is not going to forsake Lebanon.” He also warns that despite the pause, Tehran is actively preparing for a potential second phase of the U.S.-Israel war, one that could drag the global economy “into the abyss.”

While Iran forced the Lebanon ceasefire, @s_m_marandi explains they are preparing for “phase 2” of the US-Israeli war on Iran “Just as they didn’t win during the last 40 days, they’re not going to win in any war against Iran”
