The Chicago mayoral election is on February 28, with voters choosing from nine Democratic candidates who all face pressure to address key issues around policing, housing and education. In addition to the mayor and city council members, Chicago will be electing its first-ever Police District Council members, who will have limited oversight abilities over Chicago police.
