
Under the slogan “The West Bank is the Shield of Al-Quds,” and with huge demonstrations, Muslims in a number of countries of the world celebrated International Quds Day in response to the call of Imam Khomeini and affirmed the eligibility of the Palestinian cause.
Since the beginning of this exceptional year, the West Bank has deserved its shield crowned with the blood of 98 martyrs as an entitlement to the duty to stand up to the genocidal Zionist occupation. Meanwhile, Fighting in the Sudan capital, Khartoum, raged for many days after deadly battles between paramilitaries and the regular Sudanese army that left scores of people dead and hundreds wounded.
Violence erupted after weeks of deepening tensions between military leader Abdel Fattah al-Burhan and his deputy, paramilitary commander Mohamed Hamdan Daglo, over the planned integration of Daglo’s Rapid Support Forces (RSF) into the regular army.
