
Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas arrived last Wednesday in the city of Jenin and its camp, to see the conditions of the citizens and the progress of work in the reconstruction of the camp, after the recent Israeli attacks on the camp during Operation “Jenin Force” a few weeks ago.
This step comes at a time when the Palestinian authority, and behind it the Fatah movement, has become more aware of their declining popularity among the Palestinians, particularly in the city of Jenin and its camp.
In addition to dozens of cases of collision between the security services against citizens and resistance fighters in the west Bank. Meanwhile, before the last elections and the weeks and months that preceded them, Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan threatened America, NATO and the countries of the European Union, and said more than once that he would not agree to Sweden’s accession to the alliance.
However, no one was surprised that he retracted everything he said, especially after his phone call to President Biden, who said a day after this call, “We support Turkey’s accession to the European Union, but this is a purely European matter.”
