Hamas leader Ismail Haniyeh was killed in Tehran on July 31st on Iranian soil and Iran vowed revenge against Israel within hours of the killing. The Supreme leader of Iran said “it is our duty to take revenge.”
But two weeks have passed and no large-scale Iranian response has been seen.
Iranian officials have said that a promised retaliatory strike could be delayed to allow ceasefire talks to progress.

On this episode of Game Plan, Shivan Chanana discusses the possibilities, with Elijah J. Magnier, War Correspondent & Analyst with over three decades of experience in West Asia
