Today In Dystopia: ICE Robots And Pentagon Puppets
Today in dystopia, ICE is planning to add police robots to the arsenal with which it will be patrolling US streets.
“The Trump administration is exploring adding robot dogs to the expanding arsenal being used by federal immigration authorities as they seek to boost arrests and deportations across the country.
“US Immigration and Customs Enforcement posted a market-research notice Friday saying the agency was looking into the purchase of ‘quadruped unmanned ground vehicles,’ known as robotic dogs, along with a draft of the robot specifications.”
I guess it makes sense that the empire’s mad rush to normalize police robots would be spearheaded by the department responsible for persecuting immigrants; there’d be more domestic pushback if these dystopian machines were patrolling the streets targeting less marginalized populations.
ICE plans to spend as much as $2 million to purchase robot “dogs” that the agency would use in immigration enforcement operations, according to a government funding document. https://t.co/2PskIPepdo

I still can’t stand how the western political/media class keeps calling these things “dogs” to make them seem cute and familiar so that people won’t recognize them for the autonomous dissent suppression weapons they are intended to become.

Today in dystopia, a Pentagon employee has published a McCarthyite list of suspected leftists and socialists who can now be tracked with the help of an interactive map.
In an article titled “Pentagon Employee Launches ‘DSA Explorer’ Site to Track Left-Wing Groups”, Newsweek reports the following:
“A Defense Department employee known online as the conservative influencer ‘DataRepublican’ has launched a website mapping the Democratic Socialists of America (DSA) and a broader network of left-wing activist organizations, raising new questions about political targeting, government ethics, and the Trump administration’s increasingly confrontational stance toward some activist groups.
“The website, called DSA Explorer, was launched Friday and describes itself as an interactive map showing organizations and individuals connected to the DSA and what it calls a wider ‘anti-imperialist solidarity network.’ The site says it draws from publicly available information and includes a disclaimer warning that some relationships shown are based on analytical inferences rather than established affiliations.
“Its debut comes just days after reports identified the woman behind DataRepublican, Jennica Pounds, as a special government employee at the Pentagon. A Pentagon official confirmed to Newsweek that Pounds works for the department as ‘a Special Government Employee,’ and said the department had nothing further to add.”
The site networks connections between known DSA members and outside organizations, presented as a research tool. https://t.co/LM1qcngBLq

Pounds told Newsweek that the website “is not a government funded or government sanctioned project,” but I dunno man. If Iran revealed that I was a “special employee” of the IRGC but I claimed that my work is not government funded or government sanctioned, I highly doubt people like Jennica Pounds would accept that claim as credible.

Today in dystopia, US lawmakers are urging the State Department and the Department of Justice to investigate journalist Max Blumenthal for sympathizing with Iran.
According to The Daily Wire:
“A trio of House Republicans is calling on the Trump administration to investigate Grayzone editor Max Blumenthal after he traveled to Iran for Ayatollah Ali Khamenei’s funeral.
“Rep. Randy Fine (R-FL) sent the request Friday to Secretary of State Marco Rubio and Attorney General Todd Blanche, co-signed by Reps. Keith Self (R-TX) and Randy Weber (R-TX), according to a letter obtained by Laura Loomer. The letter builds on an earlier request Fine and colleagues filed in July seeking scrutiny of activists Calla Walsh, Jackson Hinkle and Christopher Helali for attending the same funeral, which the lawmakers describe as an event organized and orchestrated by the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps, a U.S.-designated Foreign Terrorist Organization.”
I have no doubt this screed released by Laura Loomer is retaliation for my lawsuit against the DHS for its illegal seizure of my phones following my return from a reporting trip to Iran. Our lawsuit succinctly details Loomer’s role in lobbying for the unconstitutional seizure,… https://t.co/tr50awYzzc
— Max Blumenthal (@MaxBlumenthal) August 29, 2026
The letter alleges a “nexus between hostile foreign states and subversive leftist activism on the American homeland,” suggesting that Blumenthal is part of this conspiracy and “has been cultivated as an agent of influence by an FTO and current military adversary of the United States.”
Blumenthal called the accusations “textbook defamation” and said the letter is “a desperate bid to silence me and The Grayzone — not for breaking any laws, but for journalism which exposes wanton corruption and war crimes.”
Indeed, this is just one more escalation in the empire’s ongoing efforts to stomp out dissent, ban criticism of Israel, and turn critical journalism into a relic of the past.

Today in dystopia, the BBC is churning out blatantly false propaganda accusing China of administering propaganda about the recent catastrophic flash floods and mudslides between Nepal and Tibet.
In a report titled “Footage of Tibet floods isn’t being shown in China — and we know little about victims there,” the BBC falsely asserts that “China’s heavily censored internet” and “state-run flagship news bulletin” have been repressing footage of people fleeing for their lives as the disaster unfolded.
This is just pure unadulterated propaganda by the BBC.
And it takes literally 2 seconds to debunk: go on Xiaohongshu (or any other Chinese social networks), type a keyword related to the mudslide (I typed "泥石流", "mudslide") and you'll see thousands of posts with footage… https://t.co/m6v41UX4Gl pic.twitter.com/soJ5JjIpOF

We know these claims are false because people have been posting news reports and sharing footage about the floods from Chinese news outlets and on Chinese social media. With accompanying screen shots, Arnaud Bertrand writes on Twitter that the BBC’s claim “takes literally 2 seconds to debunk: go on Xiaohongshu (or any other Chinese social networks), type a keyword related to the mudslide (I typed “泥石流”, “mudslide”) and you’ll see thousands of posts with footage about it — including from state media.”
Our society is brainwashed by propagandists who point at another society and caution us how brainwashed by propaganda they are. Nobody is more propagandized than the citizens of our western dystopia, but our social engineers want you to believe the Chinese are the ones who aren’t allowed to think for themselves.

Today in dystopia, The Atlantic has run a piece by a trans woman lamenting the fact that Trump’s discriminatory policies mean she can no longer work for the Central Intelligence Agency. It includes an amazing paragraph which just might be the most liberal thing that has ever happened:
“In 2017, I closed my Atlantic essay with the words ‘And trans kids should know, CIA is always recruiting.’ That promise has been broken. I cannot in good conscience advise LGBTQ Americans to join the CIA — and that sentence is the hardest thing I have ever written.”
Yep. Liberalism is lengthy Atlantic essays weeping about how trans people are being excluded from operating the foreign baby incineration machine.
It is true that the US intelligence cartel has become less inclusive than it was a few years ago. It is also true that nobody should work for the US intelligence cartel, whether they be trans, cis, gay, straight, or otherwise. The CIA is one of the most psychopathic institutions that has ever existed, and nobody of any sexual iteration should ever join it.
