With Move Against Venezuela, US Continues Pursuit of Sanctions, Regime Change, and Interference Despite Recent “World Peace” & “Multipolar” Theater

Despite claims by the Trump administration of pursuing a fundamental break from a pursuit of primacy (including meddling, sanctions, and regime change), the US is taking steps to continue undermining Venezuela, a key ally of both Russia and China, specifically mentioning Venezuela’s internal political affairs as a motive.
Out of one side of the Trump administration’s mouth it talks of peace and accommodation with Russia and China, while out of the other, declaring policies meant to further isolate and weaken both nations by targeting key allies.
I eagerly await explanations of how this isn’t actually continuity of agenda and some sort of 5D chess move…
