US Opposition in (or outside) Laos Targets Ties with China

The US sponsors opposition groups all around the world – including the small, impoverished nation of Laos.
However, the opposition has failed to gain traction inside the country and most of its opposition figures live abroad including in neighboring Thailand.
The recent arrest of a US-backed Lao agitator in Thailand helps expose the vast network the US mobilizes to support and protect vectors of its interference abroad.
