US CENTCOM Continues Targeting, Disabling, Sinking Iranian Maritime Shipping
As warned, the US doesn’t need to board and seize ships to blockade Iran, it can just disable or sink them and that is what they are doing.
It requires no special munitions the US is short on, and the only limitation is the degree to which the US wants to disrupt energy prices amid what is, in actuality, not solely a war of aggression on Iran, but a wider war for energy dominance targeting China and the rest of Asia and against multipolarism in general.
And while Iran continues its own restrictions on the Strait of Hormuz, disruptions in global energy markets have allowed the US to increase both its leverage over current proxies through expanding US LNG exports, and even over nations that have until now leaned toward multipolarism.
One factor that could drastically change this would be Iran striking and at least damaging US warships, but either a lack of capabilities or strategic reasoning has prevented Iran from doing so.
