US cites commitments to other nations who require slots, expanding instruction is not an option;
Similar problems are being reported regarding F-16 training in other Western countries;
The article claims 20 pilots will complete training by the end of 2024, but Ukraine requires 40 to operate even a single squadron of 20 aircraft;
What the article fails to mention is that Ukraine essentially requires a new air force worth of trained pilots and aircraft which cannot be done in months, or even 1-2 years, but requires 10 years or more;
