The US Money Behind Malaysia’s ‘BERSIH’ Street Front

As a political crisis looms over Southeast Asia’s Malaysia, I explain the background of various opposition groups including “BERSIH” and their extensive US government backing.

The US seeks to use opposition groups across all of Southeast Asia to encircle and contain China either with hostile client regimes, or destabilized and destroyed failed states unable to function as prosperous partners in China’s regional and global rise.
