Several comments regarding my last video
Several comments regarding my last video (there’s always people like this) said, “Brian, I thought you said they could continue the blockade long-term, now you say they can’t.”
Cracks Grow Amid US Military Amid Iran War and Wider War on Multipolarism
They must have missed the part where I mentioned the USS George Washington will take the USS Abraham Lincoln’s place, which I mentioned would “reset the clock” in terms of the human and mechanical endurance the carrier in region can sustain – at least another 2-3 months of optimal conditions followed by several months of increasingly miserable conditions after which it will be swapped out.
This is near the limit of what the US can do “cracks growing,” not broken – illustrating the overall limits of US power – but this by no means equals “no more blockade on Iran.”
It does mean that the US would find it difficult to conduct a similar or larger operation anywhere else.
Also, even if no carrier was there, remaining ships would be more vulnerable but could still theoretically operate.
Again, emotions and ideology have no place in analysis.
