The US can continue existing as a rapacious empire with or without Israel – it surely did fine for almost 2 centuries before Israel was created out of thin air by the Anglo-Americans – but the crimes of Israel would be impossible without US empire behind it.
Israel is not blameless. Blame it for its role in facilitating Western empire up to and including abetting genocide and wars of aggression.
But do not blame it for “corrupting” something that was never wholesome to begin with.

In the last 80 years, 105,000 of our military were killed, which is one from every 800 families. The generals lost every war, and all wars were for the profit of traitors, not for National Security.
When patriots join the military, they are giving their families a ticket to the lottery that no one wants to win: the right to bury their child with military honors. The recent wars in the Middle East in support of Israel cost us $8 Trillion, with 7,022 dead. The cost to every man, woman, and child in our country was about $24,000.
When you add the cost of wars, Foreign Aid, foreign deployment of troops and bases in many countries to the unconstitutional cost of the criminal enterprise in government, you understand why prosperity is no longer possible for the American people.
Zionist Israel is an enemy, not an ally of the United States. Zionist Israel bribes, intimidates, blackmails, and scares hell out of our government officials with money and threats. It is impossible to have wartime allies, when no other country can defend us because of our oceans. We have no business in unconstitutional foreign conflicts, just to make a few criminals richer, and also impoverishes our people.
