– Chinese shipbuilding, both commercial and military, surpasses the US by multiple times;
– Proposals by US arms manufacturers to meet or exceed Chinese industrial production are fantastical, ignoring the many and multiplying advantages China has and the practical inability of the US to “out-innovate” China and other competitors;
– Methods the US seeks to use to “out-innovate” China are methods already extensively employed across Chinese industry;
