What is the expected situation in the Gaza Strip in the next days?

Why do we urge Netanyahu not to exaggerate the assassination of Qassam martyr Izz al-Din al-Haddad?

The city of Gaza and the Al-Qassam Brigades, the military wing of the Hamas movement, mourned martyr leader Izz al-Din al-Haddad today, who is described as one of the most prominent masterminds and executors of the “Al-Aqsa Flood” operation, which shattered the “prestige” of the Israeli occupation state and its army. This operation is regarded as one of the largest intelligence breaches in Middle Eastern military history and possibly in the world due to the enormous number of Israeli casualties (about 1,300) and the detention of approximately 350 others. Most significantly, all participants in this “raid” returned to their bases safely, carrying their “booty” of detainees to their secure tunnels.

The martyr Izz al-Din al-Haddad, who took on the “responsibility” of reorganising and modernising the Al-Qassam Brigades following the martyrdom of the Senwar brothers and leaders Muhammad Deif and Marwan Issa, led and strengthened their resolve during one of their most critical periods in history: the Israeli genocide and ethnic cleansing war. According to his students, he will occupy prominent pages in the history of the Hamas movement, as he founded the Mujd apparatus in the brigades, whose most notable tasks included tracking and eliminating collaborators and spies working for the Israeli enemy, the last of whom led the Abu Shabab movement, and sending a cell to reach him in his command post protected by the Israeli army east of Rafah.

The assassination of martyr Al-Haddad in this critical situation for Gaza and its people is unsurprising. It does not constitute a victory for Israeli military intelligence, which seeks any victory to restore its reputation, destroyed by the “Al-Aqsa Flood” operation, even though it now controls 60% of the sector, about 150 square miles, with American support and Arab betrayal. The martyr, who escaped multiple assassination attempts, always informed his comrades and students that he was destined for martyrdom and eager to follow in the footsteps of his many comrades who had gone before him to extraordinary honour.

Despite the killings committed by the occupying state, the Hamas movement remains the de facto ruler of the Gaza Strip, with all of its weapons and the majority of its tunnels, which extend more than 500 kilometres underground. According to sources, some of which are Israeli, Hamas used the peace period to enhance its armaments and construct many missiles, drones, and ammunition from local materials in preparation for the next phase.

Hezbollah returned to the battlefield, stronger and more resilient, equipped with missiles and drones that surprised the Israeli army with their power, precision, skills, and military cells—missiles and drones that successfully penetrated most of the Israeli air defences and reached their targets in Tel Aviv, Haifa, Akka, and Kiryat Shmona by the hundreds, and all threats and conspiracies to disarm it failed. Hamas will also return, with even greater strength and

It may be worth noting that the resistance in the Gaza Strip, which defeated Sharon and forced him to withdraw all his forces and remove his colonies from the strip in 2005 to reduce losses, will likely replay the same scenario on a moonless night. The resistance has a long breath, and the valour of its members grows as they protect their dignity and martyr themselves for their just cause and the end of the occupation of their land.

The death of martyr Izz al-Din al-Haddad could be the ultimate blow to the so-called cease-fire agreement in the sector, which was sponsored by the US government and staged by Arab mediators. It confirms the irrefutable reality that the occupying authority violates every truce and ceasefire agreement, whether in Palestine or Lebanon.

Al-Qassam Brigades, like Hezbollah in southern Lebanon and Ansar Allah in Yemen, are prolific, and they all can replace their heroes with young leaders and warriors who are just as skilled, resilient, and knowledgeable as their slain predecessors. Perhaps the new young military leaders of Hezbollah in Lebanon, who have taken over from the founding leaders, with Sayyid Hassan Nasrallah at the forefront, and the significant achievements they have made in targeting the Israeli-occupied depth in Palestine and Lebanon, emptying the occupied Galilee of its settlers, producing “miracle” drones of the poor that evade radar detection, fly at low altitudes, hit their human targets with precision, and destroy Merkava tanks

The martyr Al-Haddad, and his resting place in paradise by God’s will, will meet his Lord with confidence and reassurance, knowing that his students will literally carry out his will by continuing the legitimate resistance against the occupation until they liberate their land, all of their land, and avenge their children and families, the martyrs of the genocide war, the number of whom exceeded one hundred thousand martyrs and two hundred thousand wounded in the sector. We warn Netanyahu, who has failed to achieve any of his objectives in Gaza and Lebanon, not to celebrate this murder attempt, for the real fight has begun on all fronts. And always remember that we were among the most “heralds” of the Lebanese resistance’s comeback, stronger than ever following the Beirut War and the assassination of its commanders.
