Thai Opposition Leader Paid Lobbyists to Arrange Meeting with USAID, NED

US-backed billionaire opposition leader Thanathorn Juangroongruangkit visited the US in mid-2019 before Thailand’s general elections.

He hired APCO Worldwide – a US-based lobbying firm – to arrange his trip which included meetings with several representatives from US Congress, the US State Department, USAID, and most disturbingly – Freedom House – a subsidiary of the National Endowment for Democracy (NED).

The NED and Freedom House are chaired by pro-war, pro-regime change representatives of some of the largest and most influential corporate-financier interests in the West and fund opposition groups in pursuit of regime change around the globe.

From late 2019 to the time of this video being published (April 2021) – the US government has funded and supported the core organizations leading anti-government protests aimed at overthrowing the current government and placing Thanathorn into power.

The meeting was clearly more than a mere coincidence. Will the Thai government investigate Thanathorn’s 2019 trip – especially now that the US NED’s role behind violent protests initially led by Thanathorn himself is clearly understood?
