TheAltWorld US War on Iran & Wider West Asia
▪️The US war of aggression against Iran is just one part of a greater regional conflict which includes US war and proxy war against Iran’s network alliances in Iraq (PMUs), Yemen (Ansarallah), and Lebanon (Hezbollah) – all of which are taking place in parallel;
▪️While the US has failed to topple Iran (its goal is to actually restrict West Asian energy exports to the rest of Asia, which is succeeding), it continues strikes on Iran, its infrastructure and maritime shipping;
▪️Continuous fighting continues in Yemen with Ansarallah at the moment having momentum on their side – however these are areas the organization previously controlled in fighting that has swung back and forth amid US proxy and direct war since 2011;
▪️In Lebanon, Hezbollah finds itself losing ground to US-backed Israel – with Syria’s collapse in 2024 giving Israel a springboard to launch attacks north of the Litani River in ways Israel couldn’t in 2006 – and a military operation that has lasted much longer than the 2006 botched invasion.
Thus, while US military power is being extended in the region, Iran and its network alliance is also suffering setbacks;
▪️It is important to look at the big picture across all of West Asia – not just the US-Iran conflict amid it – and how the entire conflict across West Asia fits into the wider US war on multipolarism worldwide – it is also important to look at the overall conflict across the passage of time.
From 2024 to 2026 – Iran’s regional network alliance has suffered tremendous setbacks, is now in survival mode, and is reorganizing and settling in for a long-term defensive battle across West Asia;
▪️The conclusion of this conflict in West Asia will be determined by the overall US war on multipolarism – along not just the Iran front, but also the Russia and China fronts combined;
