Did Iranian intelligence genuinely intend to assassinate Netanyahu and Trump’s sons?

How did the “Mossad” quickly lose control of the most devastating murder weapon? And why do we say, “Your goods have been returned to you, but the best is yet to come?”

Since its inception 78 years ago, “Israel” has boasted of its dominance in two major areas: first, military and aerial superiority in particular, and second, precise intelligence penetrations of adversary institutions and assassination of their leaders, whether military or political. This superiority was obviously visible in the targeting of Palestinian resistance leaders initially, followed by Sayyed Hassan Nasrallah and the top leaders of “Hezbollah,” and eventually reaching Sayyed Ali Khamenei, Iran’s Supreme Leader, as well as several military, intelligence, and nuclear scientists.

This intelligence superiority, along with its achievements, assassinations, and penetrations of defensive walls in resistance countries and factions, has begun to erode rapidly due to increased awareness and efforts to develop Arab and Islamic intelligence agencies, especially in the resistance axis, and to close as many gaps as possible. Most significantly, shifting from a defensive intelligence phase to an offensive one in a relatively short period of time.

Yesterday, Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu appeared on one of the official Israeli channels linked with him, visibly furious and mourning, to proclaim that Iran had attempted to assassinate one of his sons. He sought security and protection for them, as the first, Yair, stays in America and has had to change his name, while the second, Avner, is in London under strict Israeli and British security. Netanyahu stated that the murder attempt on his son occurred soon after the Israeli Mossad and other Israeli intelligence agencies had assassinated Mr Khamenei, the Supreme Leader, in collaboration with American agencies.

What supports what we previously stated regarding filling breaches in the resistance axis nations’ and factions’ security fences? Iranian state television offered a financial incentive of up to $10 million for anyone who can kill Barron Trump, President Donald Trump’s youngest son. The channel accompanied this action with a video report that documented and recorded the movements and travels of the targeted president’s son (Barron), as well as the activities of his closest associates. Last month, an Iranian broadcaster aired a documentary that documented Melania Trump’s activities and daily life.

And we must remember, in this haste, the state of confusion and terror that President Trump himself experienced during his participation in the NATO summit held in Ankara last month, when, forced to shorten his visit and unable to return to Washington on the presidential plane, he instead sneaked like a mouse onto an old plane that flew him to London and then to Washington to avoid an assassination attempt planned by Iranian intelligence to capture him.

We complete this section of the study, which discussed cases of fear in Netanyahu’s household and family, as well as their counterparts in President Trump’s family, by moving on to broader and more severe evidence in this area. The American network “NBC News” confirmed information about a significant Iranian security breach of American military bases, citing four sources who confirmed substantial damage to these bases, secret American intelligence sites, and monitoring equipment owned by it in the Middle East, estimated to be worth tens of billions of dollars.

We acknowledge, based on the rising losses suffered by Israeli and American intelligence regarding senior leaders of the Resistance Axis, that there has been a weakness, and possibly neglect, in the intelligence field. However, supporters of the Resistance Axis are reassured that this issue was promptly corrected. Since the assassination of Supreme Leader Mr Khamenei, only a few first-tier military and political leaders have been assassinated. Perhaps the new Iranian leadership’s reluctance to yield to American and Israeli demands and provocations, which has resulted in the rise of Mr Ayatollah Mojtaba as the new Supreme Leader, is part of the preparations to close the chapter on the previous phase.

Yes, the new Iranian leadership has reorganised its political, military, and intelligence structures, revitalised most leadership areas with new blood, and transitioned with calculated strength from defence to offence, creating a nightmare of anxiety and terror for both Americans and Israelis. As we have seen in prior cases, neither side can go a month without uncovering the presence of Iranian espionage cells in their respective military and political circles.

Recognising some deficiencies does not imply that the previous era was devoid of accomplishments, and we summarise the most notable ones in the following sections:

First, Hezbollah missiles arrived in the bedroom of Benjamin Netanyahu and his wife Sara in Herzliya, occupied Palestine, with one of them entering through their window.

Second, striking the largest spy facility in Tel Aviv, the occupying state’s capital, Unit 8200, causing significant damage to it.

Third, on October 7, 2023, the worst intelligence breach in regional history, known as the “Al-Aqsa Flood”, was perpetrated by the security wing of the Izz ad-Din al-Qassam Brigades connected with Hamas. The squad broke through the tightly guarded southern borders with cameras, electronic wires, and barriers, killing 1,300 Israelis, taking 350 detainees, and returning to the Gaza Strip without losing a single fighter from the fighting battalion (which totalled just 150 personnel).

Fourth, the major Iranian deception involved responding to the occupation’s attacks with obsolete missiles during the first aggression, rather than using precision, hypersonic, and cluster missiles, in the largest disinformation effort in modern history to deceive the adversary.

Fifth, we should not forget the Hezbollah-developed “Hodhod” drone, which was able to penetrate Israeli airspace and return with detailed photos of Israeli military bases. The party presently has a large collection of “Hodhods”, including the “Shahed 191”, “Ababil T”, “Mirage 532”, and “Mohajer 6” drones.

Sixth, Hezbollah’s military branch has successfully constructed “martyrdom” drones that use fibre optics and are impossible to detect or intercept.
