• Russia is reportedly using larger numbers of Kn-23 ballistic missiles from North Korea, which indirectly suggests greater Chinese support than often reported;

• Israel’s strikes on Syria are meant to create the illusion of Israeli friction with both the US and Syria – to help minimize public awareness of Syria’s role as a US proxy alongside Israel vs. both Iran and its regional allies;
