The Socialist Candidate Taking on California’s Billionaires

“We live in two Californias.” As 23 million voters head to the polls on June 2 in the nation’s most populous state, Peace and Freedom Party gubernatorial candidate and social worker Ramsey Robinson joins us to discuss inequality, billionaire power, and why he says California must “put people over profit.”

He explains how 194 billionaires hoard the state’s wealth — while one of them is even running for governor — and why growing numbers of Californians are turning to third parties. “The Democrats have had supermajorities in both the House and the Senate for decades, and still half of California is living paycheck to paycheck.” says Robinson,“ These are the same billionaires the Democrats and Republicans serve.”

California has a $4.2 trillion economy.

194 billionaires hoard $1.2 trillion of it, while 2.5 million people have no healthcare.

Social worker & socialist candidate @ramsey4gov explains why it’s time to take California’s wealth back.
