Is the U.S.-Iran ceasefire a peace deal or an Israeli trap? Journalist and lawyer Dimitri Lascaris joins the show while en route to Lebanon, after traveling through Iran. Lascaris warns that Trump’s so-called “ceasefire” could be a “ruse,” saying he would operate on the assumption that Trump is a “pathological, treacherous, and perfidious liar.”

He argues Iran still has its “finger most decidedly on the trigger,” while describing ongoing diplomacy as theater masking continued Israeli escalation in Lebanon and beyond.

“Donald Trump is a pathological, treacherous, perfidious liar,” says @dimitrilascaris, warning the US-Iran ceasefire is likely a “ruse.”

“I think Iran’s finger is most decidedly on the trigger.”
