Deadly protests escalate in Iraq–MES EP.22

A curfew was imposed in Baghdad and several other cities in Iraq’s southern provinces, but hundreds of demonstrators defied it as Iraq’s Prime Minister Adel Abdel Mahdi stuck a conciliatory tone at protesters demanding his resignation. We discuss this segment with Sharmine Narwani Journalist and political commentator.

The United States, as the overt occupier in Iraq until 2012 and the covert occupier until now, is found to be complicit in the chaos across Iraq. Why? Well, Iraq clinched multi-billion dollars with China. Iraq refused to slap sanctions on Iran. On top of it, Baghdad is trying to mediate between Tehran and Riyadh all the while refusing the outrageous “deal of the century” for Palestine.
