On episode 38 of the show we are joined by Alexander Kots, a renowned Russian journalist and war correspondent. Since 1999, he has been working as a correspondent for Komsomolskaya Pravda, a special correspondent for the political department, responsible for covering military conflicts and natural disasters.
His track record as a war correspondent includes work in Kosovo, Afghanistan, the North Caucasus, Libya, Syria, Egypt, Iraq, Ukraine and Nagorno-Karabakh. Member of the Russian Presidential Council for Civil Society and Human Rights. Over his long-standing career he has received numerous awards including medals for “Participation in emergency humanitarian operations”, “For Courage” and for “Participation in the military operation in Syria” among others.
