ICE’s Killing Spree Is Just Getting Started

Rania Khalek and Eugene Puryear discuss Wednesday’s fatal shooting of Renee Nicole Good, a 37-year-old mother of three, by an ICE agent in Minneapolis.

Video of the incident shows she was attempting to drive away and posed no obvious threat when an agent began shooting, though Trump administration officials claim it was self-defense.

Khalek says ICE has become “Trump’s personal militia,” arguing that anyone who opposes right-wing policies is treated as a “killable, domestic terrorist.”

The killing came just one day after 2,000 ICE agents flooded Minneapolis in what the Department of Homeland Security called the “largest immigration operation ever.”

“For over one year, we’ve seen them beat and kidnap people — it has become normalized for people to be disappeared.”
