Hurricane Helene Survivor: U.S. Gov’t ‘Has Failed Us at Every Level’

Hurricane Helene has caused catastrophic devastation across the southeastern US, killing at least 130 people and over 1,000 reported missing.

Evan Branan, an Asheville, North Carolina resident organizing disaster relief efforts with the Party for Socialism and Liberation, describes the dire situation as over a million people remain without power, cell service, and with limited access to food and water.
