Ali Abunimah – Using American bombs to deliberately target refugee camps, hospitals, schools and other densely populated areas, Israel has killed over 19,0000 Palestinians in its genocidal war on Gaza. Additionally, 52,000 Palestinians have been injured, with more than 8,000 reported missing, feared dead or trapped under the rubble. Ali Abunimah, Director of The Electronic Intifada and author of the Battle for Justice In Palestine, breaks down the latest developments in the Israeli onslaught of Gaza and why Israel can never win.

Amanda Yee – As 2023 comes to a close, Amanda Yee, An Editor of LiberationNews.org and Host of Radio Free Amanda, joins the show to wrap up the biggest US domestic stories of the year. Amanda, Rania Khalek and Eugene Puryear discuss: the continued upsurge of labor, re-loaded McCarthyism and the new Cold War on China, the wide opposition to Biden’s support for the Gaza genocide, and Congress’ funding for endless war as US infrastructure crumbles.

Mosaab Baba – Thousands have been killed and millions have been displaced as the war in Sudan continues in its ninth month. Six million people have been displaced so far by the war which started when the Sudanese Armed Forces (SAF) and the Rapid Support Forces (RSF), formerly ruling partners in the military junta, began fighting each other on April 15. Mosaab Baba, a researcher on Sudan, explains the current situation in the country.

Jehan Hakim – In response to Yemen’s attacks on Israel-bound ships in the Red Sea, the US announced the formation of a new naval task force to protect vessels bound for the apartheid state. Following the announcement, the spokesman of the Yemeni Armed Forces, Yahya Saree, said that Yemen would not be deterred and would continue to take action in solidarity with the Palestinian people. Jehan Hakim, Chair of the Yemeni Alliance Committee, breaks down the latest updates and explains the historic solidarity between Yemen and Palestine.

Theodora Pius – Mtandao wa Vikundi vya Wakulima [National Network of Farmers Groups in Tanzania], commonly known as MVIWATA, one of the largest peasant organizations in the African continent, issued a statement in solidarity with Palestine. MVIWATA, which represents more than 300,000 members of the Tanzanian peasantry, affirmed their total solidarity with the Palestinian people and denounced “the genocide and war crimes that are done by the Israeli regime in…Palestine.” Theodora Pius, Head of Programs for MVIWATA, discusses the statement and the work that MVIWATA is doing for small farmers and the rights of peasants.
