Congolese Killed for Standing Up Against Foreign Occupation
Congolese forces killed 56 people in the DRC city of Goma during a protest against the presence of UN and East African Community (EAC) security forces in the region. The eastern provinces of the country have been under a state of siege amid a resurgence of attacks by the Rwanda-backed M23.
